Rent snowshoes locally at REI, Adventure16 or Sports Chalet. Make it a weekend 和 cozy up at the Laguna Mountain Lodge where you will find pet-friendly accommodations available.

“Large pine, fir 和 cedar trees make the park one of the few areas in southern California with a Sierra Nevada-like atmosphere,” states the Parks 和 Recreation Department. 帕洛玛山 also boasts a favorite local destination, the Palomar Observatory. Freestyle skiers 和 snowboarders will go wild for 熊山 resort with plenty of jumps, jibs 和 transitions. Their Freestyle Camp offers classes for intermediate 和 advanced riders ages 8 和 up.
Check out Riglet Park, a miniature park for children ages 3-6! Using Burton’s Learn-to-Ride technology, 和 emphasizing safety, Riglet Park is a must for young riders.

All levels are accommodated on 10 miles of groomed trails 和 snowshoers are encouraged to go off-trail for a special outdoor experience. Bring lunch 和 stop at a picnic table along the trail.
